Nebraska state poet to speak here Thursday

McCook, Neb. – Nebraska State Poet Matt Mason will be visiting McCook on Thursday, Oct. 24, to share his work and insights with the community. Sponsored by McCook Public Schools, the event will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Pour Farm, 416 Norris Ave.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to Mason’s poetry and engage in a discussion about his experiences as a poet.

Mason, who has been Nebraska’s State Poet since 2019, is known for his ability to capture everyday moments and local stories in his work.
