City Council honors advisory board members
McCOOK Neb. - Mayor Linda Taylor honored two community members with plaques recognizing their dedicated service at the opening of the McCook City Council meeting. Dick Trail was acknowledged for his 11 years on the Airport Advisory Board. Mayor Taylor expressed her gratitude, stating, “We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for our community. Your outstanding service as a member of the Airport Advisory Board from August 2013 to September 2024 reflects your commitment and dedication.”Dale Dueland was recognized for his impressive 27 years of service on the McCook Planning Commission. The Mayor remarked, “We are incredibly grateful for all your contributions,” and added, “Thank you for the excellent job you have done serving the city of McCook.”In a lighthearted moment, Dueland noted that the Planning Commission has important decisions ahead and humorously mentioned, “If they get off track a little bit, I’ll show up!”
