McCook airport enplanements continue to rise

McCOOK, Neb. — The number of boardings at McCook’s Ben Nelson Regional Airport continues to climb, according to information released from the City of McCook.

By the end of September, 729 passengers had boarded here this year, up nearly 60% since 2022 when that number was 374. Some 693 passengers had deplaned by the end of September this year, n increase of 50.36%.

In September, 230 passengers boarded for Denver on 52 flights, and 236 deplaned from 51 flights. No flights were canceled, according to the release.
