HASTINGS, Neb. — McCook High junior Kapri Loop and freshman Hailey Smalley both made Class B state with Top 10 rounds of 102 at Monday's B-4 district tournament on Southern Hills Golf Course.

The Bison duo tied for 10th place overall and that final individual state spot.

Teammate Paige Broomfield was only three strokes off that pace at 105, placing 14th overall as the Bison missed qualifying their entire team a second consecutive year by one spot.

Omaha Skutt, Lincoln Pius X and Adams Central advance entire teams to Gering where Class B state play starts Monday morning.

More about Loop returning to state with new Bison Smalley will be included this week.

Sophomore Halleigha Beavers carded 113 for 23rd place and senior Haley Beideck finished 36th overall.
