Roughrider golfers win Hi-Line team championship

ELWOOD, Neb. — Southwest's Madelyn Tryon won the individual title and led her Roughrider golfers to top team honors during HiLine JV golf tournament action on Tuesday.

Tryon totaled 103 for the title ahead of Hi-Line's Aniston Peterson, North Platte JV's Madi Hildebrand and Roughrider teammate Abigail Sedlacek who all shot 107.

Southwest's Ella Cure captured sixth place at 113 just behind top five Maria Flories from Hi-Line at 109. McCook golfer Ellie Siegfried carded 112 to lead the Bison JV golfers competing.

Other area leading golfers were Southwest's Riley Cure (14th/128), McCook's Natalie Ruggles (135), Bison Kenzie Michaelis (20th/141) and Lacey Rouse (21st/142).
