MITCHELL, Neb. - Betty E. Wortman, age 94, passed away at Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell, Neb. on Sept. 30, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Betty's name to Valley Hope, 709 West Holme St., Norton, Kansas 67654. That is a special place for Betty and her husband, Vernon. It was where God, and Valley Hope reunited Betty and Vernon to be together until Vernon died.

A funeral service will be held at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook, Neb. on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., remarks by Jim Dusatko.

A burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook, Neb.
