McCOOK Neb. - Excitement is building at For Dancers Only Dance Studio as students prepare for this year’s Heritage Days celebration. The studio will proudly showcase its talent in the parade and during performances at Norris Park.

This year, the enthusiastic dancers will march and dance in the parade to the electrifying beats of ACDC’s “Thunderstruck,” carrying their vibrant Poms. Christine Janton, the owner and lead instructor at For Dancers Only, expressed her immense pride in her students. “They have been working hard, and I am excited to see them shine,” she said.

In addition to the parade, the dancers will take center stage at the Norris Band Shell at 3 PM, where they will perform a variety of routines across multiple disciplines. Audiences can expect a delightful mix of Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Acro, Ballet, and Creative Movement.

While many students feel butterflies of performance anxiety, the overwhelming sentiment is excitement. “It’s a great opportunity for our dancers to showcase their talents,” Janton noted, highlighting the importance of such events in building confidence and skill among young performers.

As Heritage Days approaches, all eyes will be on For Dancers Only as they dazzle the crowd with their passion for dance and community spirit.
