Younger Bison team delivers big win over Indians

Coach David Peterman (above) watched his McCook Junior High girls beat Ogallala in seventh-grade volleyball Tuesday which they capped with some post-match high fives (below). Among the McCook players from left were Beyonca Edwards (51), Eva McCarty (52), Rylynn Morgan (40) — who served six aces — Alice Montes and Harper Matthews who served eight aces.

McCOOK, Neb. — Coach David Peterman provided these details about the McCook Junior High seventh-grade volleyball victory Tuesday afternoon:

"This group has shown a lot of improvement since their first games last week. "A" team got their first win last night against Ogallala."

Clara Webb had 12 kills in "A" game.

Harper Matthews had 8 ace serves in "A" game

Rylynn Morgan had 6 ace serves in "A" game

A team won: 25-7, 20-25, 15-6

B team lost: 26-28, 22-25

C team lost: 3-25, 15-25
