McCook JV tennis boys take second at Lex tourney

LEXINGTON, Neb. — McCook senior Carter Hartwell swept through five matches to win No. 2 singles and lead the Bison JV boys into second overall at Tuesday’s Lexington Invitational.

The Bison totaled 37 points which topped all but Class A Kearney.

Host Lexington was third with 24 ponts, Adams Central scored 22, North Platte 14 and Hastings 13.

McCook’s other JV players all delivered three or at least two victories during this tournament.
