McCook junior linebacker Gabe Roberts intercepted Aurora's first play of the game and his ensuing touchdown return ignited (below photo) ignited the 33-14 Bison victory at Weiland Field Friday night. Bottom photo shows teammates Andrew Pochop (88), Spencer Steinbeck (57) and Kallan McCorkle (44) are ready to celebrate a 6-0 lead eight seconds into this highly-anticipated home opener. McCook eventually took a 27-0 advantage into halftime while raising its record to 2-0 as once again part of Class B football.
