McCook tennis boys take second to Bearcats at home

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook High's tennis boys scored 42 points but placed second behind a strong Scottsbluff team at the Bison Invitational on Saturday.

Scottsbluff's 45 points clinched a rare championship for someone other than the Bison at this annual early-season tourney. Holdrege was third with 21 points, Gering tallied 16 for fourth place and North Platte's six points placed fifth.
