McCook police seek owner of abandoned backhoe

McCOOK, Neb. - The McCook Police Department has issued a public notice regarding an abandoned backhoe discovered within city limits. Authorities are currently attempting to locate the owner of the heavy machinery.

The backhoe, which was found in a vacant area, appears to have been left unattended for an unspecified amount of time. Sgt Vargas of the McCook Police Department is leading the efforts to identify and contact the owner.

Police are seeking any information that might help us reunite this backhoe with its rightful owner, Vargas said. Anyone who owns this equipment or has any information about who might is asked to contact the McCook Police Department as soon as possible.
