MNB splits at Colby, Seniors and Juniors sweep Cambridge-Arapahoe

Quick updates from McCook Legion Post 203 Seniors and Juniors baseball action last weekend with more appearing in Tuesday's McCook Gazette:

MNB Bank Seniors traveled to Colby on Sunday and went 1-1.

MNB Bank (12-11 record overall) won the first game 6-3 and lost the second 10-6.

Two Legion teams in action on Monday. FCB Juniors will host Alma in a doubleheader starting at 5:30 at the Jaycee Complex.

Pinnacle Bank heads to Lexington to play Loomis in the league championship game. The teams have split this year. Game time is around 8:15.

MNB Bank Seniors and Cambridge put up 31 runs combined in their game today at Jaycee Complex. Cambridge tied the game at 13-13 in their half the sixth.

McCook would put up five runs in the sixth and held Cambridge scoreless in the seventh for 18-13 win.

FCB juniors game had a different twist compared to seniors game. FCB scored four runs in the first inning and didn’t score again until the fifth with one run. Cambridge made it close but came up short losing 5-3.
