Pinnacle Bank blasts Gothenburg to remain in league lead

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook's Pinnacle Bank boys bolstered their South Central Nebraska Baseball League lead with a terrific 12-3 victory over visiting Gothenburg Tuesday evening.

Through last week, the Legion B team owned a 9-2 record against league competition.

Pinnacle Bank owns a one-game lead over Loomis with third-place Minden visiting McCook's Jaycees Complex for a 6:15 p.m. game tonight.

Alex Anthony, Cole Lentz and Dave Anthony are coaching the league-leading Pinnacle Bank team.

The player roster features Kaden Riggins, Alec Osborn, Coen Greenlee, Kolbe Foster, Bryant Edwards, Abel Wilson, Max Van Stelton, Justin Chancellor, Kohyn Cock, Cole Davidson, Wesley Benes and Gus Smith.

Loomis took the other league game Tuesday night at McCook, 15-2, over McCook's Hermann Jones Funeral Home Legion B Juniors.

Herrmann Jones plays again on the Jaycees Complex tonight following the Pinnacle Bank contest. First pitch is set for 8:15 p.m.

Minden will be the opponent for both McCook teams.
