City plans crack-sealing project
McCOOK, Neb.— The City of McCook plans to begin crack sealing various streets in the community on Monday, March 11, weather permitting.
It should take roughly two weeks to complete, weather permitting. The contractor will be Shelco Construction out of Elsie, Neb. Officials ask that citizens remove any vehicles, including trailers, that are parked on the following streets beginning Monday morning March 11 by 7 a.m.. The order of streets will be determined by the contractor.
East 11th from East 'T Street north to the City Limits
East 15th from East "H" Street to East "J" Street
Country Club Drive from East 5th Street to East 7th Street
East "O" Street from Norris Avenue to East 5th Street
Norris Avenue from Park Avenue north to the City Limits
Blake Drive
Prairie Ridge Road
West "S" Street from West 3rd Street east 1 ˝ blocks
West "Q" Street from West 2nd Street to West 3rd Street
Elizabeth Lane from Norris Avenue west ˝ block
Louise Lane from Elizabeth north˝ block
Courtney Lane from Elizabeth to Pawnee
Pawnee from Courtney Lane to North Cherokee
South Cherokee from Seminole to Apache
North Cherokee from Seminole to Apache
Apache from North Cherokee to Seminole
Sioux from Seminole to Parkview
Parkview from Sioux to Seminole
West 2nd Street from West “P" Street north to the dead end
West 3rd Street from West “O" Street to West “Q" Street
Once the crack sealing has been completed on a street, the street will be open for normal use.
