McCOOK, Neb. — Hitchcock County won a spirited two-set Jamboree match over an improved Dundy County-Stratton team Monday night at McCook High.
The Tigers are shaking off last year’s 0-27 record with several talented young players. Junior Alyssa Schneider and sophomore Laynee Lutz are among those returning.
Hitchcock’s Falcons prevailed behind junior leaders Katie Jarecke, Byanka Tyan and Madison Gestenslager besides fearless freshmen like middle hitter Asia Homma.
