Bison jumpers, vaulters, relays lead charge into state

OGALLALA, Neb. —McCook High's boys qualified several for state during Tuesday's B-6 district ctrack-field meet though all official qualifiers are still being determined today.

Senior Branson McDonald won the pole vault and McCook's 400-meter relay of juniors Jacob Gomez-Wilson, Adam Dugger, Lucas Gomez-Wilson and senior Cole Thomas ran their season-best to beat Sidney for that championship.

Junior Hayden Norgaard qualified in pole vault with McDonald along with other long or triple jumpers like junior Brett Franker, sophomore Alex Messinger and Dugger.
