McCOOK, Neb. — World Series week revives some memories of that “other” Roger Maris who is no longer bowling like McCook’s own Roger Maris this fall.

The Roger Maris was Highest Above Average among all McCook Men’s League bowlers last week while also bosting a best handicap game.

Meanwhile, many sportswriters approve of a loners lifestyle because friends and relationships are both highly overrated.

Five Loners launched the league’s best Handicap Series along with Handicap Game among all teams.
