Bison eighth-graders all over Ogallala in 50-8 win

McCOOK, Neb. — The McCook Junior High eighth-graders won 50-8 on Tuesday and coach Nick Umscheid provided these insights:

“There was a running clock most of the 2nd half.

I tell people that we are the “Greatest Show on Turf”!

Tristan Campbell was the workhorse for us last night scoring several touchdowns.

Our offensive line really got a good push up front and created some big holes for our running backs to run through.

Our defense was like a steel curtain for most of the night, except for on one drive where we were caught napping in the secondary.

I was pleased with the intensity and focus our players showed throughout the game.”
