Bison Volleyball Invite schedule on Saturday

McCOOK, Neb. — The annual McCook Invitational swings into action Saturday with eight volleyball teams competing at McCook High and McCook Junior High.

A look at the lineup of matches:

Saturday

McCook High

11 a.m. — McCook vs. Valentine at MHS; Decatur Community (Kan.) vs. Alliance 20 minutes after the first match.

McCook Junior High

11 a.m. — Southwest vs. Gering; Cambridge vs. Chase County 20 minutes after the first match.

Semifinals

Approximately 1 p.m.

at McCook High

McCook-Valentine winner vs. Southwest-Gering winner; Alliance-Decatur winner vs. Cambridge-Chase County 15 minutes after the first semifinal.

Consolation semis

Losers of the four first-round matches start in McCook Junior High shortly after 1 p.m.

Final round

Seventh-place match, 15 minutes after second consolation final at McCook Junior High

Fifth-place match, 15 minutes after seventh place at McCook Junior High.

Third-place match, 30 minutes after second championship semifinal at McCook Senior High.

Championship match, 15 minutes after third-place match at McCook High School.
