Swedes swat away 5-0, 6-1 Bison leads in opener

There was plenty of early cheerful moments (above) as McCook's varsity softball team plated five runs in their first inning this season while building a lead over host Gothenburg Thursday evening. The Bison secured some outs for awhile (below) but those Swedes turned momentum en route to a 14-6 opening win. More details will appear on Friday.
