Bison joins Class B medalists in grand finale

McCook senior Payton Craw earned his place among Class B state medal-winning golfers as the tournament concluded Wednesday afternoon at Elks Country Club in Columbus. Craw (standing, third from left) placed 13th among 95 qualifiers which featured a first round of 77 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, coach Joe Vetrovsky (left) and his McCook High golf team finished No. 4 among all Class B teams. The Bison won six tournaments this season including both Southwest Conference and GNAC.
