Future Bison Spring League for basketball starting next week
All 3-6 grade boys are invited to the first annual Future Bison Spring League for basketball starting Tuesday evening, McCook coach Joe Imus announced.
This is a 4 vs. 4 youth basketball league for McCook students. All teams will be coached by McCook high school basketball players with the guidance of the coaching staff.
Players will learn fundamentals and concepts within the Bison offense and defense.
The first 30 minutes of each league night will be working on skills and concepts. The last hour will be 4v4 half court games.
It is no secret that great youth programs create future successful high school teams.
This is a great opportunity for McCook youth to develop their skills, increase their basketball IQ, and gain valuable experiences to the game that will benefit them once they get into high school. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!
