Bison deliver two big wins over Badgers

McCook's Cameron Werkmeister (55) attacked inside and helped ignite a 91-52 boys varsity win over Valentine Saturday afternoon. Werkmeister was one of four Bison who reached double figures with senior Mark Arp scoring 27 and classmate Ty Stevens ripping 25 points through those Badger nets. Meanwhile, senior Liviya Wier hit five of eight shots as the McCook girls scored a 53-28 victory in Saturday's first varsity game. Bison defense forced 30 turnovers and deflected 27 Badger passes.
