McCOOK, Neb. — Matthew Nichols’ scoop-and-score of a fumbled kickoff return was among many highlights during McCook’s 49-14 JV football win over Lexington Monday evening.

Sophomore Adam Dugger fired touchdown passes to Nate Renner, Lucas Gomez-Wilson and Branson McDonald.

Dugger ran for another TD, then forced the fumble which Nichols turned into another glorius rumble into a Weiland Field end zone.

“The kids played well,” coach Jake Curl confirmed. “Only giving up scores at the end of the first half and one score right at the end of the second half.”

The McCook Bison JV are scheduled to play at Weiland again vs. Class A Kearney on Monday.

Opening kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
