McCook’s landmark Mac’s Drive-In, citing a labor shortage, recently announced it was temporarily eliminating the night/dinner shift but adding Monday hours. The new hours, which went into effect Sept. 1, are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Mac’s has served McCook for several generations, according to a release from the McCarty Family. “We are making this temporary shift in operating hours to make sure Mac’s is here for the generations to come.” It continued, “We are blessed and beyond grateful to have the most loyal customers. We never take that for granted. We are also grateful for our incredible staff who have given so much to treat our customers like family and commit themselves to excellence in what they do every single day.”
