McCook Community College offering COVID-19 testing Wednesday

McCOOK, Neb. -- Mid-Plains Community College will offer free COVID-19 testing for its students and employees in McCook on Wednesday.

The testing, part of the TestNebraska initiative is open to anyone with a college ID – regardless of whether they are showing symptoms.

The testing will be offered from 8-11:45 a.m. at the Upper Kelly Park Shelter House, just east of the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.

The services will be conducted by Community Hospital, and will be walk-through only. Those who attend will be asked to wear masks covering their mouths and noses and maintain 6-feet of social distance while standing in line.

A QR code with a link to a survey will be available at the shelter. The survey must be filled out before testing. Test results will be emailed within three to four business days.
