Area boys playing five subdistrict finals tonight

A glance at the boys basketball teams who will be playing subdistrict championship games tonight at various sites:

C1-11 at Brady

The Chase County Longhorns take on Gothenburg, 6 p.m.

C2-10 at HoldegC2-11 at McCook

The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers tangle with Sutherland Sailors at 7 p.m. in McCook High School.

D1-9 at Cambridge

The Southern Valley Eagles will battle Elm Creek’s Buffaloes at Cambridge High School.

Tip time is set for 7 p.m., according to maxpreps.com information.

D1-11 at Sidney

The Wauneta-Palisade Broncos will try to knock off Paxton at 6 p.m. in Sidney (7 p.m. CST).

It’s a rematch of a D-1 state tournament quarterfinal last March where Paxton prevailed over the Broncos.
