McCOOK, Neb. — Victoria E. Lampman, age 60, of McCook, passed away at Hillcrest Nursing Home of McCook on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019.

She was born in McCook on Feb. 27, 1959, to Sidney and Joan (Charbonneau) Allen.

On Nov. 20, 1976, she married Richard Lampman and to this union two children were born; Angie and Sid. Vicki worked in McCook at the Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and as a caregiver and babysitter.

Vicki enjoyed collecting, ceramic painting, crossword puzzles, sudoku, dancing and singing Karaoke. She recently was given her 25-year pin from A.A. (Alcoholic Anonymous) for sobriety. During Hurricane Katrina, Vicki single handedly organized a semi load of relief items that was sent to Biloxi, Miss., and surrounding communities. She always took pride in her children and was very proud that she raised two black belts in Tae Kwon Do and always supported them on any endeavor. Her grandchildren were her sunshine and she loved all her family tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sherrill Thayer and Nancy Martinez; niece, Kristi Allen and nephew, Jason Allen.

Vicki is survived by her children, Angie Lampman and Sidney Lampman, both of McCook; companion, Rick Lampman; seven grandchildren, Michael, Orin, Grace, Kelly, Trinity, Jace, and Jelica; siblings, Bob Allen and Mike (Brenda) Allen, all of McCook, Pat (Diana) Allen of Herndon, Kansas, Lynn (Vony) Carfield of McCook, and Sandy Schwab of McCook; and soul sisters, Joann Jacobs of Denver, Colo., and Debra Haney of Juntura, Ore.

Vicki chose cremation as her wishes. Family is planning a Recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at 7 p.m., at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McCook on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., with inurnment in the Calvary Cemetery.
