BEAVER CITY, Neb. — Lee Samuel Krewson, 82, of Beaver City, died Thursday (May 2, 2019), at Beaver City Manor.

He was born Aug. 19, 1936, at Erickson, Neb., to Lyle and Nellie Pearl (Schamp) Krewson. He married Marlene Purdy in August of 1967. He worked at a fertilizer plant in Shelton, Neb., until he retired in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ermine, Dennis, and Terry; and other family members.

Survivors include his sister, Jeannie Daley and husband, Myron Richardson of Stamford, Neb.; brother, Freddie and wife, Robin Krewson of Anderson, Iowa; and sisters-in-law, Alice Krewson of Amherst, Neb., and Janie Krewson of Glenwood, Iowa.

Visitation is Monday, May 6, 2019, 5 to 7 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.

Graveside services are Tuesday, May 7, 2019, 10 a.m. at the Prairie Center Cemetery, north of Kearney, Neb., with the Rev. Linda Knipping officiating. Online condolences may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com
