Longhorns sink Sailor girls

IMPERIAL, Neb. — Junior Mallie McNair’s 24 points and 16-0 second quarter propelled Chase County past Sutherland, 55-27, Tuesday evening.

Senior Taylor Williams added 15 points as the Longhorns raised their record to 3-2.

Sophomore Alexis Richmond stepped up for five rebounds to go with five points.

Juniors Hannah Meeske and Maddi Brown both hit their only field goals for two points each.

Junior Sophie Spady dropped in five points. The Longhorns built a 38-13 halftime lead.
