Commission to consider small subdivision
McCOOK, Neb. — The McCook Planning Commission will meet Monday, 5:15 p.m., at the McCook Municipal building for a public hearing for the creation of a minor subdivision.
Marshall D. Tucker and Randy and Carol Lashley are requesting the creation of a minor subdivision on Drive 716, north of Cappel Industrial Park. Essentially, the Lashleys are dividing and converting a tract of their land to Marshall D. Tucker. Tucker would like to build a personal garage on that land. In order to convey the land, a minor subdivision is necessary. The area has been subdivided before, making an administrative lot split impossible, according to the agenda report for the meeting.
It was determined that a new subdivision was needed in order to properly remove the property to be conveyed from the A.M. Bishop Addition.
City staff has recommended the approval of a minor subdivision.
