Bison, Trojans begin Unified bowling season

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook High’s Unified bowling team made a terrific 2018 season debut at TJ’s Family Fun Center on Saturday.

The Bison rolled to second place at their home competition with a team score of 1385.

They knocked down 18 pins more than rival Lexington’s 1367.

Cambridge captured the team championship with a strong total of 1616.

“It was a great meet,” McCook coach Lynne Kinne commented. “I couldn’t be happier with how well the student-athletes competed.”

Unified bowling meets are scheduled for the next four weeks until district at North Platte on Monday, Nov. 26.

The Bison will compete at Lexington, Grand Island and North Platte these next three Saturdays.

They’ll host a final dual against the Cambridge Trojans on Monday, Nov. 19.

Action is set to begin at 3 p.m. again in TJ’s Family Fun Center.
