Musical connection

No matter how far they may wander, there’s a universal connection between musical performers. Evidence of that surfaced at Tuesday night’s Community Concert at the historic Fox Theatre in McCook, when the star of this season’s opening concert, William Florian of “Those Were the Days,” embraced Neal Russell, the director of the popular Oberlin Area Concert Band.
