Bison break away from Bulldogs, 44-7

ALLIANCE, Neb. — Senior Morgan Fawver's 49-yard touchdown run off a reverse highlighted the 20-0 McCook Bison third quarter en route to their 44-7 win over Alliance Friday night.
The unbeaten Bison (6-0 record) built a 17-0 halftime lead but matched their entire first-half yardage total while stretching that margin to 37-0.
Junior safety Cameryn Berry mixed in a 60-yard "pick six" interception return — his second during McCook's last three games.
Seniors Paxton Terry, Gabe Sehnert, Alec Bunger and junior Corban Jernigan were Bison who all delivered rushing touchdowns along with Fawver.
McCook's last three wins are now by a total margin of 155-16.
The Bison move on to play rival Holdrege this Friday at Holdrege.
Alliance's now 3-3 though a two-game win streak was stopped.
