Truck accident

Two wreckers from Sinner’s Paint and Body Shop in Wauneta pull a semi-truck and flatbed hay trailer back onto their wheels after they left Highway 83 and rolled onto their sides in the west road ditch south of McCook, just north of the Nebraska-Kansas state line. The accident happened about 9 a.m., Sunday, and traffic was disrupted until early afternoon. The driver, Daniel Patron Ramon, of Florida, was southbound en route to New Mexico; he was not injured. The Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident, with traffic control assistance provided by the Nebraska State Patrol.
