The family of R.G. and Jolene Brown of Cambridge, Neb., are hosting an open house and card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 1, 1968, in Palisade, Neb. The open house is Saturday, June 2, 2018, 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Cross Creek Golf Course Clubhouse in Cambridge, 900 Cross Creek Road. The couple requests no gifts, only cards or share a story about the two of them. Their family includes children, Vicki Brown of Cambridge and Kristy Mirabella of Lincoln, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
