MCC signs New York state hoops star

McCOOK, Neb. — Kailee White Jr of Rochester, New York has signed a letter of intent to continue his education and basketball career at McCook Community College for the 2018-19 school year.

White, a 6’3 combo uuard, attended Rush-Henrietta High School under Coach Chris Reed.

White lead his team to the Section V Class AA Quarterfinals averaging 25 points, five assists and eight rebounds per game his senior year.

He led all of Monroe County in points per game this past season, in which he eclipsed 30 points six times and opened the season with a 39-point game.

White amassed 1,667 career points at Rush-Henrietta High School, while receiving the Royal Comet Award his senior year.

White was all-state first team and and Monroe County Player of the Year hours his senior season.

“We are extremely excited to sign Kailee and add him to our basketball family for next year. He is a guy that can play multiple positions on the floor, he can run a team, as well as play off the ball. Kailee shoots the ball very well and has a really good basketball IQ. We can’t wait to get him out here and start working with him for next season!”
