Thirteen building permits issued, totaling half-million dollars

McCOOK, Neb. — A total of 13 building permits were issued in the City of McCook in April, for little over half a million dollars worth of construction.

The largest in April were three commercial projects, with combined construction costs of $489,100. Other projects included two residential remodels at $17,000; one sign, $7,200; five other, (roofing/decks), $20,000 and two fences, $2,300. The total amount of construction costs in April within city limits came to $535,800.

One plumbing permit was issued in April for a project estimated at $800.

Total construction costs this year within city limits are at $3.04 million.
