Viaduct construction

A flagman directs two cyclists through construction that started Monday on the East Sixth Street viaduct in McCook. The $1.4 million project includes viaduct and sidewalk repair, asphalt overlay and pavement markings. Traffic will be reduced to a 10-foot lane. Drivers should expect delays through the end of construction by late October.
