Hauxwell rallies for share of YMCA league lead

McCOOK, Neb. —Hauxwell Motors found just enough spark and edged Webb Body Shop, 25-23, to clinch top honors with Messinger in YMCA Women’s Adult Volleyball League.

Webb could have dented Hauxwell’s plans beyond repair as the underdog 3-7 team pushed through two tough sets.

However, Hauxwell prevailed 25-18 and 25-23 that matched Messinger’s 9-1 record.

Messinger also broke free free from Webb 25-13, 25-8 during these final regular-season matches.

Though both teams went 9-1, Messinger did win the one showdown with Hauxwell earlier this season.

The dramatic evening featured another thriller where Hauxwell rallied past MNB 23-25, 25-14, 15-6.

Notorious DIG and Net Ninjas delivered two other three-set super victories.

The Ninjas needed extra points to fight off Attack Pack, 17-15.
