College board approves salary increase for instructors

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Mid Plains Board of Governors approves raises for academic and vocational instructors Wednesday night.
Meeting in North Platte, the board approved negotiated salary increases of 2.5 percent for the Mid-Plains Education Association, and 2.25 percent for the Mid-Plains Vocational Education Association.
The vote followed a five-minute executive session.
Other large-ticket items include an annual maintenance fee payment of $213,397 to the Jenzabar student information system company.
The next board meeting is 6:30 p.m. April 25 in McCook.
