MH-C 57,

Wallace 19

TRENTON, Neb. — Ferocious might be too tame a word to describe the Maywood Hayes Center Wolves holding Wallace without one basket for two quarters on Saturday.

Leading 16-8 through one quarter, amazing MH-C (14-2 record) only allowed two free throws while building a 46-10 margin entering the fourth period.

Wallace only attempted 29 shots compared to 25 steals for coach Kim Stengel’s Wolves.

Junior Jayden Widener’s eight rebounds featured seven offensive. She also matched Lapp’s five steals.

No fewer than 11 Wolves hit shots including two points each from sophomores Karlie Gerlach and Natalie Koubek.

Maywood-Hayes Center moves on to Wednesday’s RPAC quarterfinals against West No. 2 Wauneta-Palisade at Maxwell.
