MPS business manager to retire

McCOOK, Neb. — Long-time McCook Public Schools business manager Rick Haney is retiring.

McCook Schools Superintendent Grant Norgaard confirmed the retirement today, adding that Haney’s resignation letter will be included on the McCook School Board’s agenda for the regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 11.

Haney has been with the district for more than 10 years. A McCook High School graduate (1980), he also coaches boys golf and is active in the Bison Alumni association. His wife, Cassa, teaches kindergarten at McCook Elementary.
