DC-S Tigers split pair in Brady

BRADY, Neb. -- Dundy County-Stratton went 1-1 at Tuesday’s triangular in Brady.
The Tigers defeated Brady 2-1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-16) and lost to South Loup 2-0 (25-10, 25-17).
Grace Frederick led the Tigers with a match-high 16 kills and four blocks in the win over Brady.
Allie Behlke had 18 digs and 20 assists for the Tigers.
Against state-rated South Loup, the Tigers struggled to generate any offense.
As a team, DCS hit -.060.
Frederick was the Tiger leader with seven terminations while Adalene Krustinger added five.
With Tuesday’s results, DCS is now 3-4 on the season.
The Tigers host Goodland, Kan., and Norton Community, Kan., in a triangular Thursday at Benkelman.
