McCOOK, Neb. — The City of McCook Water Department has ended Monday’s mandatory 24-hour water restriction, but the city staff is asking the public to remain conservative in the use of water for irrigation for the time being.
“We sincerely appreciate the pubic’s assistance with (Monday’s) emergency,” the news release said.
Monday, city officials said no outside watering should be done because of a power failure at the city's water treatment plant.
