'Life Chain' demonstration Oct. 1
McCOOK, Neb. — On Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. a Life Chain will be formed along “B” Street in McCook Nebraska.
LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful witness of Christians and pro-life individuals praying for our nation, leaders and any involved with abortion in an effort to bring back respect for life.
Signs proclaim “Adoption - the Loving Option,” “Jesus Forgives & Heals,” “Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation”, “Abortion Kills Children” and others.
Signs can be picked up at 2 p.m. in the JCPenney parking lot.
Individuals whose churches are not participating as a group are welcome to come and join those participating. Elderly and disabled pro-lifers are encouraged to come and bring chairs or park in any available parking along the route. Small children under close supervision are also welcome.
The McCook Life Chain is a part of a larger state and nationwide effort that will see more than 1570 Life Chains across America and Canada on this Sunday.
