His message is love

Walter Masters of San Angelo, Texas, carries a wooden cross, “just to let people know that Jesus loves them.” Walter walked down “M Hill” south of McCook, northbound on Highway 83 Thursday morning. He and his wife, Tammie, driving an RV, started walking and driving out of Brownsville, Texas, three years ago, making about 10-12 miles a day. They will conclude their trek at the Canadian border. The Masterses have traveled the southern and central states “carrying the cross” for 18 years. Their Facebook page reads: “God is so Awesome! We are so privileged to be able to share “the Love of Jesus and His Salvation” on a full-time basis. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
