Grasshoppers stay on top of Felling league

FELLING FIELD— Roberts Farms Grasshoppers maintained their Minors Division lead by scoring a 13-3 win over High Plains Podiatry Clippers Tuesday night.

The Grasshoppers (5-1 league record) are still one half-game better than Tigers Muckdogs (5-2), who rolled the Golden Plains Realty Lugnuts 9-2 on Tuesday.

The Clippers did split their two games thanks to an 11-7 win over McCook National Bank’s Rivercats.

Felling Field regular-season play concludes this week. Final contests will decide seedings for the post-season tournaments starting next Tuesday.
