AmFirst B Legion boys whip Minden

McCook AmFirst Junior Legion B player battles to put this ball in play during Tuesday night’s home game against Broken Bow. The teams were tied 0-0 and look for a final score and more details later this week.

MINDEN, Neb. — The McCook AmFirst Legion B team needed only three innings to finish off Minden, 15-0, Monday night.

McCook unleashed an 11-0 lead in the first inning which reached 15-0 through two frames.

Mason Michaelis went on to finish the one-hit pitching effort before “mercy rule” was enforced.

Ty Stevens drove home four of the McCook runs with his two hits while Colton Stevens added three RBIs.

Tanner Jacobs and Tate Felder ripped another two hits apiece. Isaac Hinze also drove home two runs for AmFirst.
